Chicago, 35-55: meet someone before another winter goes by

Chicago summers are packed; Chicago winters are long and quiet. If you’re ready for something serious, join the Chicago waitlist and take your interview with our AI Coach now. DuoIntro isn’t open here yet, and your profile will be ready when it is.

DuoIntro isn’t open in Chicago yet. Signing up puts you on the Chicago waitlist: free, no commitment, nothing to pay. We only open a city once there are enough compatible members, and we don’t give dates.

Free · about 10 minutes · nothing to pay

  • Free interview
  • A "no" is never shared

A friendly city where social circles close early

Chicagoans are known for being friendly, and plenty of people meet through friends, work or the neighborhood bar. By your late thirties or forties, though, those circles tend to be couples and families, and the people you meet socially are rarely the ones who are looking.

Your Coach asks the serious questions upfront: what you want the next five years to look like, kids, values, dealbreakers. Anyone heading in a different direction is ruled out before you spend an evening finding out.

How it works

  1. Today: your interview with the CoachAbout 10 minutes, mostly tap-to-answer: life goals, values, daily life, dealbreakers. Stop anytime and pick up later.
  2. Before we open: a verified photoA verification selfie reviewed by a real person. No facial recognition.
  3. Once we open: introductions, only if it’s mutualThe plan: compatible people are introduced to you with the reasons, and you’re only connected if you both say yes. Nothing is guaranteed.

North Side, South Side, suburbs: neighborhoods shape your week

Lincoln Park, Logan Square, Hyde Park, the West Loop, Evanston, Oak Park, Naperville: Chicago is a city of neighborhoods, and each has its own rhythm. Add the Metra schedule and a January commute, and distance matters more than it looks on a map.

Your Coach asks about your routine and how far you’ll travel. Your neighborhood is never shown and only puts you on the right list.

First-date ideas in Chicago, any season

In summer: a walk on the Lakefront Trail, coffee near Lincoln Park Zoo, or a drink on a patio in Andersonville. In winter: the Art Institute, a cozy café in Wicker Park, or the Garfield Park Conservatory when it’s freezing outside.

Keep a first date short and public, and let someone know where you’ll be.

Why join before we open

The day a city opens, only complete profiles (interview, verified photo, consent to be introduced) can receive introductions.

The Chicago waitlist

DuoIntro isn’t open in Chicago yet. We open a city only when there are enough complete, compatible profiles to make real introductions. We don’t give dates in advance.

Joining is free and you can leave at any time. Nothing is charged while you wait.

How compatibility is scored

Five areas, weighted differently: life goals (35%), values (20%), relationship style (15%), daily life (15%), interests (15%). Anyone who breaks one of your dealbreakers is ruled out. The score shows whether your lives point the same way; chemistry you find out in person.

Safe and private

  • Real people only, never fake profiles.
  • Your city and sensitive answers are never shown.
  • Being introduced takes a separate opt-in you can turn off.

Common questions

I live in the suburbs or Northwest Indiana. Can I join?

Yes, the Chicago list covers the city and nearby suburbs. We’ll confirm the exact area before opening.

I’m divorced with kids. Does the Coach account for that?

Yes. Your Coach asks about your family situation and what you want going forward, including kids, so introductions fit your life.

Chicago matchmakers can be expensive. What will this cost?

Nothing today. The model we plan is that you only pay when an introduction is accepted by both of you, and we’ll show the price before the city opens.

When will DuoIntro open in Chicago?

We don’t have a date. Chicago opens once there are enough compatible people with complete profiles. We’ll email you.

Can coworkers find me on DuoIntro?

No. There’s no profile directory or name search. Only someone you’re introduced to, after opening, can see your profile.

Can I keep my search private from friends who use dating apps?

Yes. DuoIntro has no public profiles and no feed. Only a person you’re introduced to, after opening, can see you.

How much will DuoIntro cost?

Nothing while you’re on the waitlist. The price isn’t set yet; we’ll show it before your city opens and before any introduction.

Do you guarantee a match?

No one can. Your Coach rules out people who don’t fit and explains every introduction.
